Privacy policy

The short version: this site is built to know as little about you as possible.

Motion sensor data

The bubble level reads your device's motion sensors (accelerometer/orientation) through your browser's standard APIs, with your permission. All readings are processed on your device, in the page, in real time. They are never transmitted, stored, or logged — closing the tab discards everything, including your calibration offset unless your browser stores it locally for you.

No accounts, no personal data

There are no accounts, sign-ups, or forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless measurement tool. It gives us aggregate counts — page views, referrers, country, browser type — without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without tracking you across sites. We cannot identify individual visitors from it.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies.

Hosting and logs

Like nearly every website, our hosting and DNS providers (Zo Computer and Cloudflare) may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, request time, URL) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify visitors.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. If we introduce advertising in the future, this policy will be updated first, and any consent requirements that apply in your region will be honored before any advertising cookies are set.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
